An assembled shaft, in particular a camshaft, drive shaft or crankshaft, having at least one tubular body and a plurality of elements, such as cams, gearwheels, bearing sleeves or crank cheeks, which are sealingly fixed to the body at a distance from one another by expansion of the same performed in longitudinal sections, has a tubular body which, given approximately constant wall thickness, has a reduced diameter in each case in the region between two elements. As a result of this, given suitable internal pressure loading in the entire tubular body, a plastic deformation of the sections of larger diameter opposite the drive elements to be fixed is possible, whereas the deformation of the tubular sections of smaller diameter lying between the drive elements remains in the purely elastic region. In an advantageous embodiment, sleeves of larger diameter compared with the tubular body are in each case provided between two elements, the ends of which sleeves are clamped between the tubular body in the region of larger diameter and the elements. <IMAGE> |
