摘要 The supercharged fuel-injected IC engine has variable valve timing. For high engine load, the overlap period of intake and exhaust valves is longer than for low speed, the inlet valve closes before a preset instant and this closing time is later than for low speed. For low speed with medium load, the overlap period of the intake and exhaust valves is longer than in other regimes and the intake valve closes later than in other regimes. For high load, the overlap period for medium speed is longer than for low speeds and shorter than for high speeds. For low load, the overlap period is shorter for low speed than high speeds. ADVANTAGE - Prevents unburnt fuel form being blown through into exhaust manifold.
