[Also in Division C1] A ball mill 14 (Fig. 1) is provided with an agitator 13 and is filled with glass balls 1-2 mm in diameter. The mill has a sieve (not shown) at its outlet end above discharge pipe 15, and is connected upstream and downstream to agitated reservoirs 6 and 17 respectively. Pump 11 supplies an aqueous suspension of red phosphorus to the mill, which forms part of apparatus used to obtain finely-divided red phosphorus (see Division C1). |
