<p>A vaginal cervical retractor (10) used to maneuver and visualize the uterus during various medical examinations and procedures would include an inner tube (12) provided with a movable pair of plastic caps (18, 20) designed to be inserted into the uterine cavity. A cervical cap (30) is secured to this tube to insure that the tube would not extend beyond a certain distance into the uterus. A hollow outer shaft (14) is provided into which the inner tube can be inserted.</p> |
