In a drilling head device for a tunnel boring machine, the plane (1) through the cutting rings' cutting edge is provided parallel to the drilling head's axis of rotation (2) for all cutters apart from the peripheral cutters. The energy consumption per mass unit is thereby reduced, the cutter costs are reduced and the boring capacity increased. |
