<p>A dye bath contg. an organic solvent has a polymeric or polymerisable monomeric Si cpd. added. This may be R3SiO(SiR2O)nSiR3 or YSiR2O(SiR'2O)mSiR'2Y (where 10 n 104; R = (cyclo)alkyl, alkenyl or aryl(alkyl); Y = OH or Cl; R' : OH, Cl or as for R; m >5; the ratio Y/R' 0.1). The bath may be used e.g. on nylon polyester, polypropylene, polyacrylic, cotton, wool, rayon or cellulose acetate fibres giving uniform and rapid treatment.</p> |
