The invention relates to a tiltable roller bearing for the support of a rotary tube (3) and contains a freely rotatably mounted roller (2) as well as a roller-bearing support construction (8) which is supported tip-movably in relation to a stationary support surface (9) by a four-membered articulated linkage (10), the two rocker arms (11, 12) of which are arranged in such a manner that the point of rotation (13) of the articulated linkage (10) lies in the region of the point of intersection of the contact line (14) between roller (2) and race (2a) with the vertical roller central axis (2b). This design makes it possible to compensate inclined positions of the rotary tube race as well as at the same time enables a significant reduction or extensive avoidance of undesirable axial forces from additional longitudinal movements of the rotary tube (3). <IMAGE> |
