<p>Minerals, slags or clinker in granular form are made into a wet paste and extruded into rods of 1-2 mm dia x 3-1O m in length in apparatus immediately above a drying chamber with a fluidising bed. The rods fall freely through an upwardly directed stream of hot air into the fluidising bed.</p> |
