A system of hydrodynamically connected slotted channels (4a, 4v) forms a cascade of graded water pumps, at whose inlet there is the slotted profile of the sucker (2) of the water turbine and whose working material is mainly water flowing through, supplied through a weir gate by a pressure channel (1). The low-potential kinetic energy of the working water is transformed by the elevator cascade to the higher hydraulic gradient of a smaller part of the river flow guided through the water turbine than achieved through the simple geodetic gradient of the weir. The set of slotted channels (4a, 4v) is flushed to the bottom of the sub-weir, from where the outlet slotted channel sends the working water back to the river bed (7). For rational use 2 to 3 slotted channels should be used in cascade, according to the height of the weir and amount of water flow.<IMAGE>
