BIODEGRADABLE RESIN COMPOSITION AND LAMINATED STRUCTURE MADE THEREFROM

A biodegradable resin composition comprising a saponified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer and a starch, wherein the copolymer has an ethylene content of 20 to 60 mole %, a degree of saponification of the vinyl acetate units of 90 mole % or above, a melt flow index of 1 to 100 g/10 min at 210 DEG C under a 2,160 g load, and an h1/4 <4> to h psi ratio of 0.5 to 4, wherein h1/4 <4> is the melt viscosity of the sample kept at 250 DEG C for 60 min and h psi is the one at 250 DEG C for 5 min. The layer of this composition can form a laminated structure with another material such as a photodegradable polymer.
