This system for stopping a movable table at a desired moment comprises a piston rod (2), two guide rods (4), two air ports (2A,2B), two cylinder brackets (3A), two prockets (8), a double acting cylinder (3), a moving table (6) feeding along the double acting cylinder (3), a ball screw (10) moving between the guide rod (4) on the moving table (6), a coupling part (20), a rotary encoder (23), a braking part (30) and a booster (40) and the contacting surface on the brake disc (31)(32) is characteristic of fine serration prominence. The inlet air from each air port (2A,2B) enables the each sprocket movable.
