PURPOSE:To securely improve the cornering performance of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle provided with a driving force distributing device 60 to regulate distribution of a driving force from an engine 2 to left and right rear wheels 6 and 7 and a rear wheel steering device 20 to steer the left and right rear wheels 6 and 7, a control means 16 is provided for effecting feedback control of operation of the driving force distributing device 60 based on the yaw rate of the vehicle. The rear wheel steering device 20 is provided with a main steering mechanism 20A to steer rear wheels in a given ratio between front and rear steering angles according to a steering amount of the vehicle, an auxiliary steering mechanism 20B capable of additionally correcting steering based on the steering of the main steering mechanism 20A, and a control means 16 to control a steering amount of the auxiliary steering mechanism 20B in response to control of the driving force distributing device 60 based on the raw rate of the vehicle. |
