A sprung seat comprises a mounting frame 1 which has two lateral, U-section guideways (15, 16) which have open sides facing each other, each of which receives a rolling element comprising a ball (17) or 18 or a pin 19 by which the ball is guided in the guideways. The seat 4 which is mounted on lateral, U-shaped lugs 24 is moveable to an out of use position by means of a rocker 21 connected at one end to the mounting frame 1 and at the other end to a subsidary rocker 23 which is pivoted to the seat member 4. A cross-member 32 attached to springs 30 (31) is adjustable by screw 35 to adjust the springs to the driver's weight. The backrest 3 is vertically adjustable by means of threaded bolts (12 and 13) Fig. 2 (not shown) which slide in grooves (10 and 11) provided on either side of a carrying frame 2. |
