PURPOSE:To provide a spun bond non-woven cloth, which has a good fineness, consists of uniform long fibers, and presents soft and fine touch by adding a specific amount of crystallizing nucleus agent to a polypropylene series resin, and thereby preventing elongation of the spinning length at the time of melt spinning. CONSTITUTION:A resin compound is formed from polypropylene polymer and 3-methyl-1-buten polymer, wherein the content of the latter ranges 1 to 1000ppm by weight. The compound has a crystallization starting temp. over 125 deg.C to permit shortening of the spinning length at the time of melt spinning. The melt flow rate is 20-100g per 10min while the fineness ranges 1 to 5 denier, which enables manufacturing long fibers having high tensile strength efficiently. The resin compound is melted and spun by a mouth-piece 1, and the bundle of discharged fibers 2 are introduced to an air sucker 3, stretched, solidified, and turned into a bundle of polypropylene series long fibers. The bundle of long fibers is exhausted from the air sucker 3, equally charged electrostatically by an electrostatic charging device 4, allowed to collide with a reflex plate 5, opened, and deposited on a catch conveyor 6, and thus a non-woven web 7 is produced and a non-woven cloth 9 in fusion, attachment is provided. |
