A method for controlling the braking of drive wheels for a vehicle to brake drive wheel braking means in response to the occurrence of the slipping state of the drive wheels comprising the steps of performing a predetermined braking force in braking means in response to a manual operation before the vehicle is started, and gradually reducing the braking force of the braking means in response to the starting operation of the vehicle before the slip of the drive wheels is detected. Thus, this method can suppress the drive torque of drive wheels by applying a predetermined braking force to the drive wheels at the initial time of starting by means of driver's manual operation and gradually generate the drive torque after starting to smoothly start the vehicle. |
