PURPOSE:To apply favorable medium contrast recording even to rough paper using a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:A hot-melt ink layer 13 is provided on a base material 11 through an intermediate adhesive layer 12 and a rough surface 15 is formed on the surface of the ink layer 13 by a roller having a rough surface. When rough paper is used, the rough surface 15 of the ink layer is meshed with the rough surface of the rough paper and ink uniformly penetrates in the rough paper to enable good medium contrast recording. |
