PURPOSE:To provide a catalyst for decomposing ozone hardly reducing its catalytic performance even after long-time use and excellent in durability. CONSTITUTION:Manganese dioxide and zeolite are mixed with a manganese nitrate soln., a silver nitrate soln. and water to prepare a slurry and a honeycomb carrier is coated with the slurry and dried. Thus, the objective catalyst for decomposing ozone is produced. This catalyst has the honeycomb carrier and a coating layer formed on the carrier and contg. manganese dioxide, silver and zeolite is catalytic components. |
