<p>PURPOSE:To cut high-tenacity yarn, hardly to be cut by a conventional means, continuously at high speed and surely. CONSTITUTION:Yarn 10 to be cut is wound in a zigzag state on plural latching protrusions 2-9 arranged on the outer periphery of a rotary disc 1 along the direction of revolution at given pitches and the yarn to be cut is alternately engaged with one side S1 of adjoining engaging protrusions in the direction of revolving shaft and the other side S2. While the yarn to be cut is brought into contact with one side of the engaging protrusion under pressure and is transported in the direction of revolution, the part of the yarn to be cut and hung on the other side of the engaging protrusion is continuously cut by a cutting blade 12 arranged so as to face the other side of the engaging protrusion.</p> |
