PURPOSE:To obtain a write-once optical data recording medium excellent in recording reproduction characteristics and enabling high density recording by providing a data recording membrane having a twolayered structure consisting of a layer based on Te and a layer based on Bi and Sb on a support. CONSTITUTION:A write-once optical data recording medium is produced by providing a data recording membrane composed of a two-layered structure consisting of a layer based on Te and a layer based on Bi and Sb on a substrate composed of org. matter such as an acrylic resin or inorg. matter such as glass. Concretely, the replica of a tracking grooves 6 is formed on the surface of a doughnut-shaped transparent substrate 1 composed of chemical reinforced glass using an ultraviolet curable resin layer 2 and an org. substrate layer 3 composed of nitrocellulose and, subsequently, a Bi49Sb49S2 layer 4 is formed on the transparent substrate 1 by sputtering and a Pb3Te79Se18 layer 5 is laminated on the layer 4 to form an optical data recording membrane 7 to produce an optical disk. |
