<p>PURPOSE:To reduce friction resistance of a double pipe which consists of an outer pipe and an inner pipe and drive or tunnel the double pipe. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate layer 3 is installed between an inner pipe 1 and an outer pipe 2 where a through hole 4 is formed longitudinally on the intermediate layer 3. Prior to shield tunneling, the inner pipe 1 of a double A which has been tunneled already is connected to an inner pipe of a new double pipe A. A joint member 7 having a T joint 6 is fixedly connected to the through hole 4. Furthermore, the outer pipe 2 is connected thereto while a check valve 8 is mounted to the outer pipe 2 as well and connected to the T joint 6. After having interconnected these double pipes A, a lubricant injection member 10 is inserted into the through hole 4. By moving this injection member 10 properly, a lubricant is injected into a clearance 12 formed between the outer pipe 2 and a ground 11 from the T joint 6 and the check valve 8, thereby shield-tunneling the double pipes A. After a pipeline is installed with the double pipes A, a back-fill material filling up member 13 is inserted into the through hole 4 and a back-fill material is filled up in the clearance 12 formed between the outer pipe 2 and the ground 11 from the T joint 6 and the check valve 8.</p> |
