<p>PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of removal of a pallet and the combination work of the pallet and a container by taking out one heap of pallets from an empty pallet storage position for separating them from each other, carrying them to a waiting position, and placing the containers in order for storage in the racks of an automated warehouse. CONSTITUTION:For storing actual containers in racks, it is confirmed if actual pallets are at a palletizing station 26, and only if no pallets exist, a requisition signal is outputted from an empty pallets separation unit 18 to an automated warehouse, by which a stacker crane 14 takes out one heap of empty pallets from the racks 12 of the automated warehouse, transfers them to a separation unit 18 for every empty pallet, carries them to a palletizing station 26, and places actual containers in order on them to store them in an empty automated warehouse 10. It is thus possible to reduce the frequency of taking out the empty pallets, and increase the frequency of storing the actual containers in the racks of the automated warehouse by placing them on the pallets.</p> |
