<p>PURPOSE:To grasp the state of a process accurately, to combine the state with operator's knowledge and to facilitate the fabrication of inference rules by symbolizing the state of the process, accumulating the state together with the similarity, using the accumulated symbolized data and the fitness of the data, and performing the inference. CONSTITUTION:Data Sn representing the state of a process is latched by a latch and processing part 1. Symbolizing is performed with a symbolizing part 2 by using a symbolizing dictionary 3. The symbolized data and the similarity of the data undergo symbolized data processing 4. The data are stored into a symbolized-data historical file 5 in a time series. The filed similarity becomes the fitness. The fitness makes an inference engine 32 function together with the symbolized data. A symbol-fuzzy-data processing part 31 judges abnormality when the input symbolized data are different from the previous data. The fact is reported to an operator with the symbols, which can be understood intuitively with a man-machine device 10. Furthermore, IF/TEN description is formed and stored in a knowledge base 33. This knowledge-obtaining function and the symbolized-data integrating function, which integrates a plurality of the symbolized data, are provided. Thus, the system operation in the broad range can be performed.</p> |
