PURPOSE:To provide a measuring apparatus of trolley wire abrasion loss capable of easily and precisely detect the abrasion loss of the sliding surface of a trolley wire. CONSTITUTION:A measuring apparatus has a standard roller 3 rolling along a trolley wire 1. In the forward position of the standard roller 3, a non-contact type sensor 5 for detecting the abrasive displacement of the sliding surface of the trolley wire 1 is arranged. A shielding plate 36 is interposed between the non-contact type sensor 5 and the standard roller 3. The shielding plate 36 prevents a foreign material such as dust from the standard roller 3 from being adhered to the non-contact type sensor 5. |
