This circuit comprises a PPI (programmable peripheral interface) (10) for receiving comand and state check of scanner and transfering the data, an address decoder (12) for decoding address of device and selecting corresponding device, a memory buffer module (4) for storing DMA data transferred from the scanner, a memory buffer read/write logic (10) for outputting read/write enable signal according to read/write operation of the buffer memory, a DMA request circuit (18) for transferring temporarily stored data to a hard disk, and an address generating section (20) for addressing the buffer memory.
