<p>PURPOSE:To judge the line of a device really generating a fault and the line of a device affected by the fault. CONSTITUTION:A network system provided with a fault monitor function is equipped with a state managing part 1 to collect fault information from a network, fault managing part 4 to calculate the fault probability of the device and the line and the probability of the fault influence for each device and line based on the fault information collected by the state managing part 1, network configuration table 2 containing the connection information of devices and lines, fault certanity table 3 deciding probability for each fault cause concerning the faults of the lines and devices and the fault influences, state managing table 10 to store the fault probability of lines and devices and the probability of fault influences while referring to the fault certanity table 3 based on the foult in formation, and output part 11 to output contents in the state managing table 10.</p> |
