PURPOSE:To attain the high speed digital bidirectional transmission of approximately 1.5Mb/s even in the direction of a station building and also to extremely reduce the hardware scale of an echo canceler which is required for a transmitting device. CONSTITUTION:In a fully double bidirectional digital subscriber line transmission system, a transmission line 1 is terminated by a station side transmitting/ receiving device 2 serving as a master device and a subscriber side transmitting/ receiving device 3 serving as a slave device. Then the transmission frequency band DELTAfm of the master side and the transmission frequency band DELTAfs of the slave side are set so that both bands DELTAfm and DELTAfs partly overlap with each other. |
