PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of toner in a developing unit which is caused by the heat of a fixing unit when a user turns off the power source of a device. CONSTITUTION:This device is composed of a main switch 35 which is turned off by a user, a relay switch 36 which is turned off by a CPU 40, a potential detecting part 39 which detects that a user has turned off the main switch, and a temperature sensor 31 which monitors the temperatures of the fixing unit and the developing unit. When the potential detecting part 39 detects that the main switch 35 has been turned off, the CPU 40 monitors the signal of the temperature sensor 31 and controls the relay switch 36 by the level of the signal. |
