PURPOSE:To obtain an arc sound with fidelity to a sounding source by superimposing an audio frequency current passing a de-emphasis amplifier on an arc current. CONSTITUTION:The higher the frequency component of the audio frequency current from an audio signal source 06, the more reduced in its amplitude by the de-emphasis amplifier 7 of prescribed frequency characteristic, and it is supplied to a DC source 04 which generates a DC bias via a controller 05. The audio frequency current is superimposed on the DC bias, and a TIG torch 01 is driven, and an arc column is formed, then, the arc sound is generated. By employing such constitution using the de-emphasis amplifier, the amplitude can be reduced gradually according to the increment of the frequency component of the audio signal, and overmodulation, etc., can be prevented from occurring, and the arc sound with fidelity to the sounding source can be obtained. |
