PURPOSE:To form a coloring layer for a color filter at a low cost in a color liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION:A TFT 10 consisting of a gate electrode 2, gate insulating film 3, amorphous silicon film 3, source electrode 5, and drain electrode 6 is formed on a glass substrate 1. Then a display electrode 7 connected to the drain electrode 6 is formed. A passivation film 8 is formed in the area except for the display electrode area, and the coloring layers 9 of R, G and B are formed on the display electrode 7 by electrodeposition method. |
