PURPOSE:To obtain a toner which stably gives clear picture images having little fog and excellent light resistance by using a dye stuff having a specified structure as a coloring agent. CONSTITUTION:This color toner contains at least a coloring agent in a binder resin and the coloring agent contains phthalocyanine dye expressed by formula I. In formula, R is expressed by formula II and the substituting position of R is 1- or 4-, 5- or 8-, 9- or 12-, 13- or 16-. R' is a substd. or unsubstd. alkyl group of 1-20 carbon number or hydrogen, X is independently -CH2CH2-, -CH2 CH2CH2-, -CH(CH3)CH2-, or isomers of these, n is an integer 0-10, Met is a metal. The unsubstd. alkyl group of 1-20 carbon number expressed by R' is methyl group, ethyl group, etc., and the substd. alkyl group of 1-20 carbon number is a hydroxymethyl group, and Met is Zn, or Mg, etc. |
