<p>PURPOSE:To improve the grade of performance of the color filter for a liquid crystal display panel, etc., and the process for production of the color filter. CONSTITUTION:A black mask pattern 14 bored with many through-holes and recesses 13 extending respectively from the through-holes are formed on the surface of a transparent substrate 12 or an inorg. transparent insulating layer 16 deposited on the transparent substrate 12 and picture elements 4R, 4G, 4B consisting of colored resins are packed into the recesses 13 and the through- holes. A screen printing method is applied for packing of the picture elements 4R, 4G, 4B. The post baking treatment (heating) thereof is executed while the surfaces of all the picture elements 4R, 4G, 4B are kept pressured by the smooth surface of a pressing means.</p> |
