PURPOSE:To provide the outline data generation device which forms a specific outline part, which is common to part of the outlines of many characters, in nearly the same standard shape. CONSTITUTION:When partial correction is specified, the outline of specific KANJI(Chinese character) is displayed; and when 'scale' in a memory, is specified and the start point, etc., of a scale corresponding part is specified, the segment 30 of the scale corresponding part is prescribed and three size data of the segment 30 are calculated and stored in a RAM 20. Size data which is closest to the size data stored in the RAM 20 is selected according to the size data and size data on the scale read out of an outline data memory 12 and a corrected specific outline segment 31 based upon the data is displayed with a broken line. When 'execution' is indicated, data on the scale corresponding part of the outline of the KANJI is converted into data showing the corrected specific outline segment 31. |
