PURPOSE:To simplify a procedure relating to an automobile driver's license, vehicle maintenance, parking, oil supply, etc., and to reduce driver's load by storing vehicle/driver's ID information in a terminal memory of a contactless IC card. CONSTITUTION:An automobile management system based upon a contactless IC card consists of the contactless IC card 1 for contactlessly transmitting/ receiving data and an external master device 2. The card 1 has a terminal memory 3, a transmitting/receiving means 5 and a transmission/reception control means 4 at least. The memory 3 stores vehicle/driver's ID information. The means 5 contactlessly transmits/receives data to/from the device 2 and the means 4 controls communication between the memory 3 and the device 2 through the means 5. A host memory 7 stores information outputted from the memory 3 and a host control part 6 controls the storage/reading of the information stored in the memory 7. |
