PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of system down when a diagnostic device runs down by providing means necessary for restarting the system other than the diagnostic device. CONSTITUTION:The diagnostic device 1 has a constitutional information storing means 11 for storing constitutional information, an idle time monitoring means 12 for monitoring the generation of idle time in the processing of the device 1 and a communication control means 13 for reading out the constitutional information at the time of detecting the idle time and controlling the transmission of the read information to a maintenance device 2. On the other hand, the device 2 has a maintenance constitutional information storing means 21 for storing the constitutional information sent from the device 1 through a communication means 3 and a fault monitoring means 22 for controlling the means 3 at the time of generating a fault in the device 1 and sending the constitutional information stored in the means 2 to the means 11 in the device 1. Since up-to-date constitutional information is received from the device 2, the occurrence of system down can be prevented. |
