PURPOSE:To improve an S/N at the time of private modulation in a communication equipment such as a cordless telephone set provided with a private speaking function. CONSTITUTION:An emphasis circuit 18 emphasizes the higher frequency component of an amplitude at a fine input, for which the degradation of the S/N is estimated, among voice signals privately modulated by a private modulator 7 at the time of transmission and afterwards, the input is FM modulated and transmitted. At the time of reception, a de-emphasis circuit 19 reduces the higher frequency component of the amplitude in the fine input of FM demodulated audio signals. Therefore, the sufficient S/N can be realized even to the fine input at the time of private modulation when it is necessary to decrease the amplitude of the input audio signal to an FM modulator 8. |
