PURPOSE:To obtain the base fabric of the display label for quality, etc., which can be distinctly printed. CONSTITUTION:This base fabric consists of a woven fabric and a synthetic resin film joined to at least one surface of this woven fabric. The woven fabric subjected to calendering or the woven fabric having <=20cc/cm<2>/sec value of air permeability is sued as the woven fabric. The air permeability is measured by the Franzir method of the method for testing air permeability stipulated in JIS L-1096. The calendered fabric has less ruggedness on the surface and has excellent smoothness. The woven fabric having <=20cc/cm<2>/sec has also excellent smoothness. Then, the base fabric constituted by joining the synthetic resin film to such smooth surface of the woven fabric has the excellent smoothness. The chipping by the recessed parts of the surface is hardly generated and the distinct printing is possible when the base fabric is printed. |
