PURPOSE:To surely display the performance of a conversion lens by preventing the erroneous use of a user when the conversion lens is attached to the top end of a lens and used. CONSTITUTION:The contact points 75a and 75b are provided on the conversion lens, and a resistor 163 whose resistance value is varied according to the kind of conversion lens is connected with both contact points. A voltage divided by the resistor 163 and the resistor 162 of a camera side, is read by the CPU 150 of a camera, so that the fitting of the conversion lens and its kind are confirmed on the camera side. Thus, optimum performance can be displayed, for a focal distance at the time of fitting the conversion lens. |
