PURPOSE:To realize a plotting device by which the reproducibility of a graphic picture regardless of a plotting position, preservation of the continuity of a plotting between each band, prevention of the increase of arithmetic amounts, and a high speed can be attained. CONSTITUTION:A plotting device 1 equipped with a plotting memory 6 corresponding to the size of plural bands into which a page to be plotted is divided, plots a graphic by using a scan, conversion, and algorithm for the plural bands. The plotting calculation coordinate of a final raster, judgement value for a coordinate selection, and judgement expression used for the coordinate selection are stored in an RAM 10 for the previously plotted band, the stored plotting calculation coordinate, judgement value, and judgement expression are used as the initial value of the plotting calculation of the band to be plotted at present by a control part 8, the graphic of each band is stored in a plotting memory 6, and the graphic is plotted by a plotting part 7. |
