<p>PURPOSE:To improve screen operation by providing a means which can easily delete an icon during the operation of the window system. CONSTITUTION:This window system consists of a central arithmetic processor 1 which processes an in put information, a display device 2 which displays windows, characters, etc., a determination button 31 which is used to select an optional position and a command and determines position information and a selected menu, a mouse 3 with which a position on a display screen is indicated to operate a cursor, a keyboard device 4 for inputting characters, numerals, etc., and an external storage device 5 which stores an operating system, application software, etc. The cursor 32 is positioned at the icon 23 by operating the mouse 3 during the operation of the window system and the icon 23 is moved to a position which belongs to none of windows with the determination button 31 ON, thereby automatically deleting the icon 23.</p> |
