PURPOSE:To improve an analytical method for composite words in a machine translator. CONSTITUTION:An original analyzing part 1-1 analyzes the grammatical structure or meaning relation of an original based upon the information of a translating dictionary 1-4 and transfers the analyzed result to a composite word processing part 1-2. The processing part 1-2 refers to the contents of a dictionary and the analyzed result, and at the time of judging a composite word, executes the processing of the composite word and transfers the processed result to a translated sentence forming part 1-3. The forming part 1-3 outputs a translated sentence matched with the grammer of output side language based upon the analytical result obtained from the processing part 1-2. |
