Plastic brush handles - moulded with an insert of decorated foil

Brush handles are made by injection moulding a transparent or translucent thermoplastic material around a foil decorated to simulate pearl, marble, etc. Pref. the foil is suspended vertically in a mould cavity and a retractable baffle divides the incoming melt into streams passing over each face of the insert foil. The insert may be flat, curved or creased.
