PURPOSE:To facilitate the identification of two regions by providing a visually observable transparent layer on an optically recordable recording layer and a recording layer for merely guiding a light beam. CONSTITUTION:The recording layer 2 is laminated on a substrate layer 22. The transparent layer 21 is laminated to protect the recording layer 2 over the entire part of the optical card 1. The transparent layer 21 is constituted to vary the transmittance of light in the recordable region 13 of the recording layer 2 and in the region 12 for merely guiding the light beam. Namely, the transparent layer is so formed that the transmittance of the region 13 is higher than the transmittance of the region 12. As a result, the identification of the two regions is enabled and there is no need for a user to use more than necessary nerves. |
