An apparatus for detecting reservation recording in VPS comprises: a tuner for tuning and selecting channel, according to control signal of a microprocessor, and a signal converting circuit for outputting usual signal and recording signal from output of the tuner according to control signal of the microprocessor. Thus this invention can detect VPS data during QTR recording and make recording by VP'S reservation recording signal.
