PURPOSE:To improve the stopping performance of a motor without increasing a cost to a large extent and especially to prevent the motor from rocking back at the time of its stopping. CONSTITUTION:When the polarity of polarity control amplifiers 1a-1c is reversed by an external motor-driven control circuit 8 while an unshown rotor is rotating, a rotation control signal for reversing the rotor is outputted from a waveform composite circuit 2. Thus, a three-phase driver circuit 3 supplies fixed windings L1-L3 with a current for reversing the rotor to brake the rotor. After that, when a brake control is released, the external motor driven control circuit 8 outputs a stop signal 400 to a composite waveform delay circuit 6 and driver control circuit 7 to delay the phase of the rotation control signal by 60 degrees to output the control signal to the three-phase driver circuit 3 and starts the three-phase driver circuit 3 to cause a current to flow to the fixed windings L1-L3 so that forces pulling against each other are generated between the rotor and fixed windings L1-L3. |
