PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic device which can easily or automatically make an amount of developer supplied from a developing roller to an image carrier proper appropriate. CONSTITUTION:The driving force of a stepping motor 14 is transmitted to a blade 4b by a rack gear 11, a pinion gear 12 and a worm gear 13, so that the blade 4b is moved in a direction shown by an arrow B1 or B2. While developing roller 4a rotates in a direction shown by an arrow C, toner T sticks thereto, so that a sticking toner layer with a fixed thickness is formed. Since a distance from the developing roller 4a to its front end part 4c varies with the movement of the blade 4b, toner T corresponding to the moving position of the blade 4b can be removed from the developing roller 4a. |
