The roller-door has two vertical tubes (2) on driven shafts (1), and on which the curtains (3) are wound and un- wound, their leading closing edges (9) being fixed to travel- ling trucks (8). An endless toothed belt (5) drives both shafts, while the curtains wind onto the tubes in opposite directions. Toothed pulleys (6) for the belt can be mounted at the shaft top ends, and the curtains can be offset in the direction in which vehicles etc pass through, their edges overlapping when shut. ADVANTAGE - Simplicity of drive mechanism.
