In the device the facing surfaces of the support structure and the wear element are attached on one side of the fleece-strip and on the other to the hook- or harpoo-strip of a 'velcro' (RTM)-type fastener. The wear elements may be exchangeable flat screen elements, (1) and the support structure is a screen structure (5) of a screening machine. These elements are made of rubber or plastic. The wear elements may also be the de-watering elements of bucket wheels, and the support structure may be the water wheel itself. USE/ADVANTAGE - In treatment, transport or conveying systems.
