The join (5) to the hub (2) is on the inside, and is interrupted at several points (6). That between the double ventilated disc portions (3,4) is similarly interrupted. The inner disc portion is joined to the hub via the outer one, and the interruptions consists of curved elongated holes equidistant from the hub axis (L - L). The holes are of tapering cross-section, with the larger ends towards the inner disc portion. USE/ADVANTAGE - Particularly for a lorry. Simplicity, strength, low cost, and good ventilation.
