The drive wheel has a starter disc with hub, for non- turnable connection to a motor shaft. It also has a driver element with connections to the converter of an automatic transmission. The driver is shaped as a ring, and is fastened to the starter disc. The driver ring (10) has projections in the area of the connections (11), for connection to the converter. The projections (12) engage in window openings (9)/recesses in the starter disc (2). They are formed, so that their outer surfaces are aligned with the neighbouring starter disc surface. The driver ring is rivetted (13) or welded to the starter disc.
