The device has a coil body (10) with a flange (10a) at one end. A wire (13) is wound around the coil body (10). A pair of connector terminals (11,12) are attached to the flange (10a) and are connected to both ends (13a,b) of the wire (13). The device also has a wire section for reducing the stress concentration at the ends (13a,b) of the wire (13) during contraction or expansion of the coil body (10) caused by temp. variation. The stress concentration is preferably reduced by having a looser section of wire formed at each end (13a,b) of the wire (13). ADVANTAGE - Maintains inductance at desired value. Pulling stress between wire ends and connectors is treated without applying less tension when winding wire.
